Jim Zboril, President of Renaissance Construction, Development & Consulting is an award-winning developer with a proven history of leading and directing master-planned community organizations from start-up with the ability to scale teams and projects.

Over the past three decades, Jim Zboril has firmly established himself as one of Florida’s most successful and prolific developers of mixed-use and large-scale properties. As President of Renaissance Construction, Development & Consulting Jim leads his team of master-planned development experts as they work with clients working on various ongoing projects while also sourcing additional investment opportunities in Florida, Texas, the Carolinas, Georgia, and Utah.

Before forming Renaissance, Jim served as President of Tavistock Development Company. During his 17-year tenure, he built Tavistock into one of Central Florida’s foremost mixed-use, vertically integrated real estate development, construction, and management firms.

Jim led several of Tavistock’s most visionary projects including Lake Nona, a 13,000-acre master-planned community with thousands of homes and millions of square feet of commercial space that has been ranked among the best master-planned communities in America. He also launched the development of Sunbridge, a 27,000-acre mixed-use master-planned community located adjacent to Lake Nona in Orange and Osceola counties. In addition, he helped create and launch the Tavistock Hotel Collection, Dais Communications, and Craft Homes.

Jim Zboril led the evolution of Tavistock from landowner to a full-service, integrated, multi-use real estate development, construction, and management firm. In Lake Nona, Jim and the Tavistock team attracted more than $3 billion of direct investment and construction activity and orchestrated the creation of Lake Nona’s landmark projects, including the UCF College of Medicine, the U.S. Tennis Association National Campus, and KPMG’s global training facility.
